Tutors & Assessors
As mentioned on our previous page, the Tutor and Assessor roles are often combined by our users. Here we give you an overview of the
combined roles.
Tutor views
The tutor sees a summary of all the courses for which they are responsible detailing the number of students and whether
the student is waiting for the tutor to respond to an earlier communication. The tutor can drill down to see detailed lists of the students and
the point in the course that they have reached.
Messages & Files
Messages & sample coursework can be sent to & from the tutor. These are all contained within Learnbubble and do not require external email functions.
Note that coursework submitted as part of a final assessment is only accessible by the assessor.
Marking final assessments
Where a final assessment is not automatically marked by Learnbubble, for example because submitted coursework is a requirement of the assessment,
the assessor must access and mark the submitted coursework. These marks are recorded against the student / course taken.
The marks can be issued immediately or only released at a specified date to the student. However, if a moderator is required for the course, the marks cannot be issued until released by the moderator.
The screen samples included here show students taking a selected course and the assessment marks given to a student.
